Some financial instruments and broker’s features might not be available to you according to your country of residence (such as high leverage for EU, UK, and Australian traders).

AvaTrade standard account: best for casual traders

  • Availability: Under the Central Bank of Ireland, BVI, ASIC, FSCA, FFA and FFAJ, ISA.
  • Markets: Forex, commodities, stocks, cryptocurrencies, indices, FXoptions, ETFs, Bonds (1250+ assets in total).
  • Commissions: Spread is only fixed and starts from 0.9 pips on forex. You’ll be charged a rollover fee if you hold a position overnight.
  • Platforms: MT4, MT5, AvaTrade WebTrader, AvaTradeGO, AvaSocial.
  • Trade size: From 1 micro lot.
  • Leverage: Up to 1:30 (Central Bank of Ireland, ASIC, FSCA), up to 1:25 (FFA and FFAJ), up to 1:400 (BVI).
  • Special features: AvaTrade offers fixed spread only and unique risk management tools such as AvaProtect and Guardian Angel. Social trading with AvaSocial and third-party platforms (ZuluTrade, DupliTrade).
  • Account opening: Demo is available for 21 days, and when switching to a live account there is a minimum deposit of $100.

AvaTrade spread betting account: best for UK traders

  • Availability: Under FCA.
  • Markets: Forex, stocks, indices, commodities, and EFTs (200+ assets in total).
  • Commissions: Spread is only fixed and starts from 0.9 pips on forex. You’ll be charged a rollover fee if you hold a position overnight.
  • Platforms: MT4, MT5.
  • Trade size: Minimum bet is £0.10 per point.
  • Leverage: Up to 1:30.
  • Account opening: Demo is available for 21 days, and when switching to a live account there is a minimum deposit of £100.

AvaTrade islamic account: best for muslim traders

  • Leverage: Up to 1:400.
  • Account opening: Minimum deposit is $100 and you need to satisfy some conditions to be eligible for pro trading.

What happens to inactive AvaTrade trading accounts?

After 3 consecutive inactive months your account will become inactive and is subject to a monthly fee of $50.

A log-in is enough to get your AvaTrade account running again. If the inactivity mode persists, it may be a good idea to contact customer service.
