How to link the AvaTrade account with ZuluTrade
Step 1: Open an account with AvaTrade
To link your AvaTrade account with ZuluTrade, you need to open an MT4 account.
This option can be selected during the registration process of AvaTrade.
Step 2: Fund your AvaTrade account
After opening your account and verifying your profile, you must deposit at least $100 to open a real account with AvaTrade.
Step 3: Open your ZuluTrade account settings
After following the previous steps, you will need to open an account with ZuluTrade and enter the profile settings.
From here, you will need to enter AvaTrade’s MT4 server details so that you can link the two trading accounts and start copy trading.
Main characteristics of the AvaTrade ZuluTrade account
The AvaTrade account is available for both European and international clients, whose only difference besides leverage is slippage in copy trading.
European clients suffer rather high slippage compared to other ZuluTrade brokers: averaging 1.57 pips, while it averages 1.99 for international clients.
AvaTrade is one of the few brokers with fixed spreads only, this means that when copying other AvaTrade traders through ZuluTrade, trading commissions other than slippage will be fixed.
Maximum leverage is 1:400 on AvaTrade, but drops to 1:30 for European clients.
