How to install MT4 on Axi

In this guide, you can learn how to install the Axi MT4 platform on your Windows PC, Apple Mac, Apple iPhone or iPad, or an Android mobile device. Then, once your MetaTrader 4 platform is installed on the chosen device, we’ll show you how to log-in to the application and start trading forex with Axi.

Step 1 – Choose your MT4 Account

The first step to installing and running the Axi MT4 platform is to open a trading account with the broker.

Step 2 – Download the Axi MT4 platform

As soon as you have your live or demo account created, you will be sent a welcome email with various links to download the platforms on your preferred computer or device. Don’t worry too much about keeping that email, as you can find links to download the Axi MT4 applications in the client portal.

Follow these steps to download Axi MT4 on your Apple iMac or MacBook.

  1. Install PlayOnMac to run programs designed for Windows on the Mac operating system.
  2. Install XQuartz to run Windows interfaces on OS X.
  3. Install Wine to make compatible MT4 Mac, through PlayOnMac.
  4. Visit the Axi client portal.
  5. Log in with your credentials.
  6. Select ‘Download MT4’ and wait for the file to download on your Mac.
  7. Double-click on the downloaded file and follow the instructions in the installation wizard.

Axi MT4 download for iOS and Android

Follow these steps to download the Axi MT4 mobile application on your iOS or Android device.

  1. You can find and download the MT4 Android App from Google Play, and you can find the iOS App from the Apple App Store. All you need to do is search the phrase ‘MetaTrader4’ to find the app and then download
  2. The MT4 iOS App can be downloaded from other locations too, such as the Axi website or from the client portal.

Step 3 – First Login

Once you’ve downloaded the MT4 platform on your preferred device or system, you can log in with the details provided to you by Axi via email. The email contents will provide you with the login number, password, and the server address to connect to the brokers MT4 trading server. Once you’ve logged in, you can begin trading or practising with a demo account.
