Below you will find a complete list of all account types available to traders on FXTM, with details on features and useful information for choosing.

FXTM (81% of retail CFD accounts lose money) has several branches to operate worldwide and you may find some financial instruments and features unavailable such as limited leverage up to 1:30 for retail clients in the UK.

Also, if you are residing in the EU, you must be a professional trader to open an account with FXTM.

  • Commissions: Spreads on this account starts from 1.5 pips; holding a position for more days entails a rollover fee. You’ll also pay a fee to your Strategy Manager when they make a profitable trade.

  • Account opening: The minimum deposit to start with this account is $100.

FXTM Islamic account: Best for Muslim traders

  • Commissions: The commissions depend on the account type selected. Also, you may find an additional fee replacing the swap fee.

  • Commissions: Floating spreads only from 0.6 pips. If you wish to keep a position open overnight you will be charged rollover fees.
  • Platforms: MT4, MT5.
  • Trade size: From 1 micro lot.
  • Leverage: Up to 1:300.
  • Special features: Market insights and tools including VPS hosting.
  • Account opening: There is a minimum deposit of $500 to open this account.

What happens to inactive FXTM trading accounts?

After 6 consecutive months of no trading activity, your account is considered dormant or inactive.

A monthly fee of $5 is charged until your balance runs out. When your balance reaches zero, FXTM reserves the right to close your account.

You can log in and place a trade to reactivate your account. If it’s already been closed then you have to create a new one. Either way, you should contact customer service and follow their instructions.
