Admirals offers a good number of account types:

Admirals account types: full list and features

In general, under ESMA, ASIC, and FCA regulations the maximum retail leverage is up to 30:1. Also, some features may not be available depending on your location.

Admirals trade account: best for day traders

  • Availability: Under CySEC, FCA, ASIC, JSC, and FSCA.
  • Markets: Forex, CFD forex, indices, futures, commodities, bonds, ETFs, stocks (3350+ in total).
  • Commissions: You will get charged spreads from 0.5 pips on forex,commissions on stocks of 0.02 USD on stocks, and a rollover fee if you hold your position overnight.
  • Platforms: MetaTrader 4 and 5. Note that stocks and ETFs are available only on the MT5 platform.
  • Trade size: From 1 micro lot.
  • Leverage: Up to 1:500 under FSCA, JSC and up to 30:1 under FCA, CySEC, ASIC.
  • Special features: Admirals cashback (not available under FSCA) with a rate of 1 USD per million USD of notional volume; Admirals wallet (not available under FSCA) where you can control your funds from your wallet.
  • Account opening: An Admiral’s trade demo account is available and whenever you’re ready to open a live account, there is a $100 minimum deposit.

Admirals zero account: best for scalpers

  • Availability: Under CySEC, FCA, ASIC, JSC and FSCA.
  • Markets: Forex, CFD metals, CFD energies, CFD cash index (61 in total).
  • Commissions: You will get charged spreads from 0.0 pips on forex, commissions from $0.50 to $3 per lot on forex, commodities, cash indices, and a rollover fee if you hold your position overnight.
  • Platforms: MetaTrader 4 and 5.
  • Trade size: From 1 micro lot.
  • Leverage: Up to 1:500 under FSCA, JSC; up to 30:1 under FCA, CySEC, and ASIC.
  • Special features: Admirals cashback and Admirals wallet (not available under FSCA).
  • Account opening: An Admirals zero demo account is available and if you wish to switch to a live account, there is a $100 minimum deposit.

Admirals invest account: best for real assets traders

  • Availability: Under CySEC, FCA, ASIC and JSC
  • Markets: Real stocks and ETFs (4,550+ in total).
  • Commissions: Commissions from 0.02 USD on shares and ETFs.
  • Platforms:
  • Trade size: n/a.
  • Leverage: No leverage.
  • Special features: No islamic account available. The Invest account is not available under FSCA. The main feature is the low shares trading features, as well as cashback rebate and Admirals wallet.
  • Account opening: An Admirals invest demo account is also available, with $1 minimum deposit when you open the live version.

Admirals professional account: best for professional traders

  • Availability: Under CySEC, FCA and ASIC.
  • Markets: It depends on the account type choice.
  • Commissions: Spreads from 0 or 0.5 pips depending on your account choice; commissions from 0.02 USD on stocks with the Invest account; commissions from $0.50 to $3 per lot on forex, commodities, cash indices with the Zero account; rollover fees if you hold the position overnight.
  • Platforms: MetaTrader4 and 5. The Invest Account is available only on the MT5 platform.
  • Trade size: from 1 micro lot.
  • Leverage: up to 1:500.
  • Special features: Cashback rebates, Admirals wallet, higher leverage; specialized trading tools.
  • Account opening: A Pro demo is available. The minimum deposit depends on the account type you choose, from $1 for the Invest up to $100 for the Zero and Trade.

Admirals islamic account: best for Islamic traders

  • Availability: Under CySEC, FCA, ASIC, JSC and FSCA.
  • Markets: Forex, CFD forex, indices, futures, commodities, bonds, ETFs, stocks (3350+ in total).
  • Commissions: Spreads depending on the account type choice; No rollover fee if you hold a position overnight.
  • Platforms:
  • Trade size: From 1 micro lot.
  • Leverage: Up to 1:500 under FSCA, JSC; up to 30:1 under FCA, CySEC, ASIC.
  • Special features: The invest and zero account are not available with an Islamic account, neither is the MT4 platform. You can find some restrictions, so contact Admirals in case.
  • Account opening: The Islamic demo account is available. Should you want to open a live account, you need to make a minimum deposit of $100.

What happens to inactive Admirals trading accounts?

An inactivity fee is charged by Admiral’s. This fee comes after 24 months of no trading activity, and is $10 per month after that time.

Moreover, if you find any problems or if the account gets blocked by Admirals, just contact them and everything will be handled by the support team.
