XTB account types: Full list and features

Some features may not be available for all clients in all locations. For example, FCA and CySEC clients will have access to a maximum retail leverage of 30:1 on forex.

XTB standard account: Best for day traders

  • Availability: Under CySEC, FCA, IFSC.
  • Markets: CFD on forex, indices, commodities, stocks, crypto, ETF (5200+ assets in total under CySEC and 2100+ under FCA and IFSC).
  • Commissions: You will get charged spreads from 0.8 pips (0.5 pips under IFSC) and a rollover fee if you hold a position overnight.
  • Platforms: xStation.
  • Trade size: From 1 micro lot.
  • Leverage: Up to 1:30 (CySEC, FCA); up to 500:1 (IFSC).
  • Special features: Cash rebates from 5% to 30% if you trade at least 20 lots within a month (only under IFSC).
  • Account opening: Demo account for 30 days; no minimum deposit to proceed to a live account; there is an exception for some non-EU countries with 3 different standard accounts and a minimum deposit of up to $50,000.

XTB professional account: Best for high-volume traders

  • Availability: Under CySEC, FCA.
  • Markets: CFD on forex, indices, commodities, stocks, crypto, ETF (5200+ assets in total under CySEC and 2100+ under FCA).
  • Commissions: Spreads are charged starting at 0.8 pips, and a rollover fee is charged on positions held open for consecutive days.
  • Platforms: xStation.
  • Trade size: From 1 micro lot.
  • Leverage: Up to 1:200.
  • Special features: Higher leverage, and high-level trading tools.
  • Account opening: Open the retail account, then apply to become a professional trader and the broker will contact you: follow their lead.

XTB Islamic account: Best for Muslim traders

  • Availability: Under IFSC.
  • Markets: CFD on forex, indices, commodities, stocks, ETF (2100+ assets in total).
  • Commissions: The spread starting value is 0.7 pips.
  • Platforms: xStation.
  • Trade size: From 1 micro lot.
  • Leverage: Up to 1:500.
  • Special features: Swap-free trading.
  • Account opening: Contact the support team to open an Islamic account. Starting with a demo is possible; Then, the broker does not require a minimum deposit to open a live account.

What happens to inactive XTB trading accounts?

XTB does charge an inactivity fee starting after 1 year of inactivity. If this is the case, you will get charged a monthly fee of $10 up until you decide to log back into your account.
