easyMarkets’ demo account features

The easyMarkets demo account opening is very simple. A phone number and email address are all that is required. The demo account duration is unlimited but multiple demo accounts with the same email are not permitted. Almost 200 tradable markets are available with 100,000$ in virtual funds to trade. MT4, MT5 and the proprietary platform can be used and tools such as educational video tutorials are also available.

Differences between live and demo easyMarkets accounts

There are four Demo account options for EasyMarkets users. These are the Standard Account, VIP Account, MT4 Account and MT5 Account. These are not always available to try as a demo account since the availability depends on the traders’ country of residence.

The major difference between a live and demo is Slippage, which is the price difference between your requested order price and the real order’s execution price. This happens because in live accounts prices can change really fast and as a result, your order can be executed at a different price than when the order was initiated. The demo trial offered is unlimited. You won’t even get charged an inactivity fee if you don’t use it for a long time your live account.

How to switch to a live account

When switching to a live account, the demo account will be available no matter what. To open a live account you will need to upload proof of your identity (Passport, ID, or Driver’s License) and proof of your residence (Bill utility, or bank statement) on the broker’s website. Depending on the country, the broker may ask you to fill out a questionnaire about your trading experience. When your account gets verified by easyMarkets, you can make your easyMarkets first deposit and then start trading
